Data base/ BI Developer Analyst (Remote)
Overview
This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.
Serving as the Lead BI developer within Platform Services (Server, Mainframe, Storage, etc) focusing in the development of reports in support of Infrastructure related projects/programs. This position delivers strategic insight into business systems through complex analysis, reporting, and operational activities. Serves as a technical expert on system usage and performance. Determines business requirements and implements appropriate specifications, monitoring for compliance and effectiveness. Assists in identifying and resolving process issues which may involve system testing or development. May oversee the work of less experienced analysts in the work group.
Responsibilities
• Developing and maintaining custom Power BI reports, Excel spreadsheets and Powerpoint presentations
• Creating Oracle database objects (tables, indexes, views, functions etc) to load large data sets
• Developing Unix shell and SQL Loader scripts to load data into an Oracle reporting database
• Working with various teams to secure data required for reports
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operations Support OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operations Support
Non-Technical
• Able to work independently
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Comfortable with making presentations to IT managers
• Experience writing technical documents
• Experience with working in regulated industries (Financial Services or Pharmaceutical industry)
Technical
• Power BI Report development (file, Oracle and Sharepoint list sources)
• Experienced with developing/creating Service Now reports
• Experienced loading data into Oracle with SQL Loader
• Unix Shell scripting
• SQL programming
• Sharepoint (creating and maintaining lists and surveys)
• Control-M automated scheduler
• MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Note)

If hired in North Carolina, the base pay for this position is generally between $97,636 and $169,236 . If hired in Florida, the base pay for this position is generally between $107,386 and $186,136. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
